Hi, Been trying to get this to work for ages now, I have airsnort installed and running on linux. I have a Dlink DWL 650+, I have previsouly installed the ndiswrapper, but have now installed the prism drivers by, wlan-ng. I have used the wlanctl-ng interface lnxreq_wlansniff enable=true command to get the card started which it does. I get an online light on the card. But no traffic. I've tried turning on the prismheader and wlanheader, and the wlansniff=enable, but nothing makes any difference, i see no packets in airsnort(or in ethereal come to that), the card is working with the driver I think, because running kwifimanager will pick up valid networks in the area. One thing I did notice though, is that each time I run one of the wlanctl-ng command to modify a paramter, is sets all the others back to nothing. is this an indication that, the settings are not holding. Can anyone shed any light on this situation? Thanx Pete "My brain is sometimes not attached to my mouth, please take this under advisement." RSS feeds galore soon !
