Hi,
Been trying to get this to work for ages now, I have airsnort installed and
running on linux. I have a Dlink DWL 650+, I have previsouly installed the
ndiswrapper, but have now installed the prism drivers by, wlan-ng. I have
used the wlanctl-ng interface lnxreq_wlansniff enable=true command to get
the card started which it does. I get an online light on the card. But no
traffic.
I've tried turning on the prismheader and wlanheader, and the
wlansniff=enable, but nothing makes any difference, i see no packets in
airsnort(or in ethereal come to that), the card is working with the driver I
think, because running kwifimanager will pick up valid networks in the area.
One thing I did notice though, is that each time I run one of the wlanctl-ng
command to modify a paramter, is sets all the others back to nothing. is
this an indication that, the settings are not holding. Can anyone shed any
light on this situation?
Thanx
Pete
