Glad it looks much better in FC4. I wonder if FC4 also
tinkered with hotplug and/or the sequence of events
at all which has helped you. Certainly the whole
hotplug area does seem to me to change/develop from
one distro/release to another.

I'll wait for Ubuntu Badger and see how that stacks up.
