Hi, everybody.
I'm a newbie using wireless network. Now my D-Link DWL120-HW wireless USB adapter
refuse to work and I'm going mad. Please help me, thanks for any of your advice!
I want to use the adapter on HHARM2410 and I cross compiled
linux-wlan-ng-0.2.1-pre26, then I follow the README rules as follows:
a> edit the modules.conf file, adding "alias wlan0 prism2_usb"
b> plug in my Prism2 USB device
c> insmod p80211.o; insmod prism2_usb.o prism2_doreset=1
d> wlanctl-ng wlan0 lnxreq_ifstate ifstate=enable
and it goes wrong by reporting "wlanctl-ng: no such device"
e> wlanctl-ng wlan0 lnxreq_autojoin ssid=myhomenetwork authtype=opensystem
here again "wlanctl-ng: no such device"
Have I missed something? why the driver p80211.o and prism2_usb.o seems taking no
effect? Hope for your reply.
