Ok, I got pcmciautils working, but now linux-wlan is not working. did the device name change from wlan0 or something? pccardctl ident Socket 0: product info: "The Linksys Group, Inc.", "Instant Wireless Network PC Card", "ISL37300P", "RevA" manfid: 0x0274, 0x1612 function: 6 (network) I had to use hotplug instead of udev, and I have this /sys/bus/pcmcia/devices lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Sep 27 18:54 0.0 -> ../../../devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:0a.0/0.0 so that is my card, so why, after starting wlan like before, does wlan0 not show up under ifconfig -a? did i need to change wlan.conf as well after the upgrade to pcmciautils? looks like I am almost there, thanks! _______________________________________________ Linux-wlan-user mailing list [email protected] http://lists.linux-wlan.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-wlan-user
