I think I have 1.5.6:

linux:~ # wlanctl-ng wlan0 dot11req_mibget
mibattribute=p2PrimaryFWID
message=dot11req_mibget
  mibattribute=p2PrimaryFWID='PO010102.HEX'
  resultcode=success
linux:~ # wlanctl-ng wlan0 dot11req_mibget
mibattribute=p2SecondaryFWID
message=dot11req_mibget
  mibattribute=p2SecondaryFWID='SU010506.HEX'
  resultcode=success
linux:~ # wlanctl-ng wlan0 dot11req_mibget
mibattribute=p2TertiaryFWID
message=dot11req_mibget
  mibattribute=p2TertiaryFWID=''
  resultcode=not_supported
linux:~ #

the right thing to do, set the passive mode during
initialization as I'd done?

Thanks.
