New here but not new to linux-wlan-ng. I have been using linux-wlan-ng 0.2.1pre20 with Red Hat 8.0 and an Actiontec 802U13 usb adapter for a year or so and I now want to change to Debian 3.1. I can't get this to work with 0.2.1pre25 but I saw in the archive a note from Solomon saying that hardly anyone uses prism2 cards now since they are switching to 80211g. So should I go buy a 80211g card? Should I go back to 0.2.1pre20 or forward to 0.2.1? Meanwhile here is the problem. I have compiled linux-wlan-ng and tweaked the configuration files and wlanctl-ng wlan0 lnxreq_ifstate ifstate=disable returns 'succeeded' but wlanctl-ng wlan0 lnxreq_ifstate ifstate=enable returns 'implementation failure'. Where is this error coming from? Is there software that searches the archive? Regards Tony Sumner
