(no subject)

Hello,

I've been trying to get linux-wlan-ng working with my Actiontec 802UIG-1
USB adapter but have had a number of problems.

The first was with the linux-wlan-ng package so thoughtfully provided on
the etch sources list.  The configure script in it appears to be broken as
every time I asked for the USB drivers to be built it wouldn't oblige.  So
I went and got the 0.2.3 tar from the FTP server instead.  This time,
thankfully, the drivers *did* build.

The next thing I did after running "make install" was "update-rc.d wlan
start 37 S . stop 37 S ."  I also set an SSID for wlan0 in wlan.conf and
made a wlancfg-X for it.

After restarting the system, I saw something along the lines of the
following:-

/etc/wlan/shared: line 73: '[' : too many arguments

Underneath that was a slew of related errors saying things like "no such
device", etc.

Does anyone have any ideas how to get this going?
