Fedora Core 6 Test1 - Modules.symvers not found

I've been perusing the internet for the afternoon, trying to get my wireless network card working. It's a Linksys WPC11 v1.0, and it's the last resort for keeping this Dell C840 from going in the bin (the built in network card failed, and Dell wants $599 to replace it).
 
Anyhow, I don't have a network connection from the machine, but will re-type some of the error output. I did a make config, then make all, and got this:
 
/home/bcarlson/downloads/linux-wlan-ng-0.2.3/src/p80211/Modules.symvers: No such file or directory
/bin/sh: line 1: 8301 Aborted       scripts/mod/modpost -m -a -i /usr/src/kernels/linux-2.6.17.3/Module.symvers -I /home/bcarlson/downloads... etc. 
 
Let me know if you want more info, and I'll keep typing, basically, I'm getting the same thing a previous poster mentioned, and I cannot find a link to the subversion repository to checkout, and try the lastest.
