Decreased reliability with current svn, DWL-122 USB

I checked out the svn trunk yesterday, happy to find that it now
compiles on Fedora kernel 2.6.17-1.2142_FC4 - thanks for the tireless
efforts to keep up with the idiosyncracies of new kernels.

Sorry to report I'm getting considerably more errors than with previous
versions on 2.6.16 and earlier kernels. Don't know whether this is due
to driver or usb issues.

1) Typically fails to start on boot. In the log I get
prism2usb_init: prism2_usb.o: 0.2.4 Loaded
prism2usb_init: dev_info is: prism2_usb
usbcore: registered new driver prism2_usb
 - But the firmware does not load. Manually doing "modprobe -r
prism2_usb" followed by "modprobe prism2_usb" gets it going.

2) This evening I've had several of these:
NETDEV WATCHDOG: wlan0: transmit timed out
wlan0 rx pipe reset complete.
wlan0 tx pipe reset complete.
 - I hadn't seen this error for months. Seems to occur when the network
is relatively busy. The connection has stayed up despite these errors,
whereas in the past this error usually meant unplugging or at least
unloading the module.

3) When I first installed & modprobed the new version, I got this error
just after the firmware loaded:
usbctlx_rrid_completor_fn: RID len mismatch, rid=0xfd44 hlen=2 fwlen=-2
 - I don't remember seeing this one before. I got two more of these;
several modprobe -r / modprobes followed by unplugging the device
sorted it out and I haven't seen this error since.

Thanks,

Dave
