Regarding Monitor Mode or Promiscuous Mode on a USB based WLAN adapter

Hi, all

I am new here. I need some help from all you experts here.

I am doing some project on WLAN, I need to find a USB based WLAN adapter (as
small as possible) with such features:

USB interface

Resolution of Received Signal Strength as fine as possible

Linux driver support

(And very importantly) Can be put into Monitor Mode or Promiscuous Mode.

I have been searching for this on line for month.

Could anyone give your suggestions?
