Ugh; if they backported features as well as just "fixes" that may break=20
things -- we use the kernel version to determine which=20
back-compatibility things to enable.

That said, the error you are reporting doesn't seem to make sense; the=20
'Module.symvers' file is created by the kernel build system as part of=20
the kernel build.  Do you have it in /lib/modules/_kernelver_/build/  ?
