Yes, of course I've tried many times. It fails every time.
I compared /boot/System.map and live_map.0. They're identical.
Same thing for /boot/Kerntypes and live_Kerntypes.0.
(Both files in /boot are actually links to the real file.)
I tried passing the /boot files names on the command line anyway, and o=
f
course it fails the same way.

Yes, this is odd. And if you run the command again dose it then work? A=
lso,
what if you point lcrash to /boot for System.map and kerntypes.
I have noticed an odd behaviour where lcrash works on alternate invocat=
ions
and fails on the others, for the same dump.

RE: lcrash of a livedump files
Hi,
I found this old message in Google.
I'm having the same problem now.
Did you eventually find the solution?
(The solution suggested by Richard does not work for me)

I've experienced this I believe its down to a corrupt copy of the mapfi=
le.
Try overriding the map file with the correct version in /boot
