It also applies to 2.4.25 but with some irrelevant offset messages. I'm not bothering at all with the troubled 2.4.24 kernel. The only real change from the 2.4.23 version, other than it applies/removes cleanly, is that I've dropped the bug from the CVS repository which effectively disables SMP (see my earlier posting on this matter). I've also posted an updated patch for 2.4.23.
