init script support in the sample implementation

I downloaded the sample implementation from ftp://www.linuxbase.org/pub/lsb/impl/released/binary/, and it does not have a /lib/lsb/init-functions. Also missing is /usr/lib/lsb for install_initd and remove_initd. Did I miss a file, or is there a newer version of the sample implementation somewhere? I also tried the one in the beta directory, but same problem. -- see shy jo
