LSB Contributors, The LSB *is* *holding* an election for a new workgroup chair *now* from January 12th, 2004 until January 14th, 2004. The chairman is responsible for running the LSB and interfacing with the FSG board. The LSB Election Committee has received one application to stand as a candidate for position of LSB Workgroup Chairman. Mats Wichmann is a senior staff engineer with Intel. He has been a UNIX developer since 1980 and has worked as a consultant, trainer, and courseware developer. Mats has past standards/ABI experience with the MIPS ABI Group as technical director and is an individual Austin Group member and an IEEE-SA member. He participates in several LSB subgroups and serves on the LSB Specification Authority. Mats is currently acting as Technical Lead for the LSB Sample Implementation and is a member of the LSB Steering Committee. Please show your LSB support by filling out an LSB Contributor questionnaire and casting a ballot. http:/www.linuxbase.org/~gk4/election.php -- George (gk4)
