This is a resend of a message that was sent to some other lists and is on the LSB website: The LSB project has issued a preview release of LSB 3, and we are requesting your help in reviewing. LSB 3 is tracking towards being ready for certification at the end of Q2 2005, and the specification is the major first step in that direction. We chose the terminology "Preview Release" as there are some new features in LSB 3 we'd like to get feedback on. The Preview has a two week review time, once the bugs against this version are resolved, we'll exit the preview phase and issue a release candidate for LSB 3.0.
