Administrative message from lsb-impl mailing list

If you're surprised to be seeing this message,
or if you haven't heard from this list in a
really long time, please read on.

At some time, all of you have sucesssfully subscribed
to this mailing list, for discussing the LSB
"Sample Implementation", which is a proof-of-concept
of building an LSB conforming Linux system.

We just discovered that there were 221 subscribers
to the list, and nearly all of them had delivery
turned off.  Since we've switched versions of the
mailing list manager software (mailman) the precise
reason for disabling delivery is no longer recorded.

Probably some are email addresses no longer valid
that were disabled by the bounce processor, but
probably a lot were disabled by the bounce processor
because of flying spam with forged addresses (we've
since turned off that feature, as it got too many
false disables).

Since we can't determine - without trying it - which
are real addresses, we've re-enabled all of the
subscribed addresses and are sending this out.

If you don't want to be on this list, or don't
even think you were on the list, please go ahead
and unsubscribe by following the link at the
bottom of this page.  If you're not sure what
the list is about, the same link will take you
to the archives.  We'll toss all those addresses
that do bounce.

Sorry for the bother, the list will return to
regular operation now.
