We'll need to generate the right patch; our glibc
patches have been additive (in other words, we
don't have an ia64 patch that applies only for
ia64 - there's some history behind this but don't
worry about it).

Do the patches apply to a clean glibc 2.2.5 - i.e.,
with none of ours added?
