Brief discussion today. What's needed for lsbsi 2.0? Besides adding dual-architecture support, uplifiting some of the packages. The biggest would seem to be glibc-2.3. Will also have to switch to coreutils to keep pace. Coreutils is a bit of a pain to capture all of the exceptions (don't install this file) from the xml for the three packages that have now become coreutils; might be worth reviving a hack to the python version of cmdchk which did the opposite check: what's there that shouldn't be (cmdchk.py is in the cvs but the hack is not). We might like to have that report for the lsbsi anyway. To be evolved further.
