Comments from Mark Kettenis: There are some important bits missing from the DWARF-inspired exception handling section: the mapping between register/column numbers and actual registers/register names isn't specified. Of course these are architecture-specific, but they really should be documented, otherwise I noticed that DW_CFA_GNU_window_save isn't documented; probably fine since it's somewhat SPARC-specific and LSB doesn't seem to cover that architecture. The DW_CFA_GNU_args_size is very cryptic; I don't understand what it is supposed to be used for. The documentation on the CIE pointer for FDE's is unclear: This value shall never be 0, which indicates this record is a FDE. When I first read this I thought that the value 0 would indicate that the record is an FDE, but that's not what it is trying to say. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.linuxbase.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
