today's libchk output for s390 shows lseek64 and open64 should be GLIBC_2.2, not
2.1. This is probably true for ppc32 as well, but the tests have not been
running automatically.

Checking symbols in /lib/tls/libpthread.so.0
    lseek64 has newer version GLIBC_2.2 (db GLIBC_2.1)
Did not find lseek64 (GLIBC_2.1) in libpthread.so.0
    open64 has newer version GLIBC_2.2 (db GLIBC_2.1)
Did not find open64 (GLIBC_2.1) in libpthread.so.0
