Hello,
As many of you may know that the LSB-Desktop project group is
working on developing the test cases for the GTK libraries. We are doing
this as an addition to the GTKVTS project found in GTK CVS. This project
originally developed by Sun covers only the gtk library partially. We
are looking at extending its coverage to other gtk+ libraries and
getting it up to date. The attached tests cover some parts of glib
library. The documentation for the library can be found at
http://www.gtk.org/api/2.6/glib/index.html

The gtkvts project can be found at http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/gtkvts/

We are currently in the process of finding out what we should be doing
as far as checking in these updates go. We either will check them back
in GTK CVS and then get the snapshot for LSB runtime testing OR check in
all our changes to LSB CVS only.

Please review the attached test cases and email the feedback back here.
Please note that the tests were developed following the process employed
by existing test cases in GTKVTS. So they will NOT be following the
existing LSB test methodology, but are fairly close as the VTS project
uses TET as the framework.

Thanks,

-Rajesh Banginwar
LSB-Desktop Lead
