The problem is that you can't have 32-bit plugins with a 64-bit python. I 
was thinking about a way to provide 2 flavors of python the other day 
though. But I doubt the amount of people willing that is enough for 10.2 
since nobody complained yet since the past 4 distros. ;-) So probably wait 
for the next major version.

I have just uploaded a 64-bit version of trickle to contribs, does it 
work?
