You are just using the kernel rpm in 64-bit ? 
No other packages (like util-linux ...) ??

The kernel I am currently using is the one on the MiniCD RC2 (without 
acpi=ht). I am using 32-bit urpmi. 

It will allow me to do more tests on kernels.
