Recap: if you want RC, use devel/10.2/x86_64 tree. It seems that:
- beta 2 was fine /devel == exact beta2, cooker == beta2 + cooker
- beta 1 was cooker/x86_64 only, no /devel in time
- rc was devel/x86_64 only, no cooker/* in time but has some packages 
more recent than rc since I uploaded stuff there.

Do you have something worth enough from install.log? You know that 
pixel generally don't test lvm and relies on Luca's guidance.

Ah, I doubt the initscripts would self delete modprobe symlinks. Really 
nothing in install.log?

BTW, what Shuttle model is it?
