Hi all,

I have upgraded to the new version of 2005, coming from 10.1 and the
problems i had with earilier kernels and my MSI motherboard with NVidia
Nforce3 chipsets seem to be fixed. So my raidsets on my serial ATA discs
were finally recognized and i'm using sata_nv now and no longer the ide
kernel modules. However, I now seem to have problems using K3b, which
worked fine before and I have problems using large files, for example
images of dvds. One such image I extract from a rar archive and during
the extract I can see the file growing in size. At some point the size
is reported to be 16+ Terabytes and after extraction is finished the
file is reported to be 300+ Mb in size.

Can anyone point me in some direction to resolve these issues?

Hans
