Hello,

I tried to install Mandriva LE2005 x86_64 on my PC whose processor is an
AMD Athlon 64. The installation went well but, when rebooting, I get the
following error message:

Loading jbd.ko module
insmod: error inserting '/lib/jbd.ko': errno=8
Loading ext3.ko module
insmod: error inserting '/lib/ext3.ko': errno=8

umount /initrd/proc failed: 2
Initrd finished
Freeing unused kernel memory: 220k freed.
Kernel panic - not syncing: No init found. Try passive init= option to
kernel.

I found some hints about the fact that the kernel may not be configured
with BUILT-IN ext3 support.

How may I solve that problem?

Greetings,
