mplayer failing in cooker

Hello

with the recent player from a few days ago (17 jan 2012), many (all ?) 
of my videos that were working with the previous r32713.8 (from nov 
2011) are not working anymore (only sound is decoded). I guess this 
might be related to the way mplayers now uses external libraries.

All dependancies are up to date on this cooker machine.

Only the first image is decoded, then mplayer displays a lot of :

Dropping frame with size not matching configured size
Dropping frame with size not matching configured size
Dropping frame with size not matching configured size
Dropping frame with size not matching configured size
Dropping frame with size not matching configured size
Dropping frame with size not matching configured size


Could this be related to this message with mismatching version ?
