Interesting... and good work! As far as the updates go, I think most of us understand what happened there. When Rosa-2012.1 (Fresh) git was merged, many packages were actually downgraded. And for us to actually provide an upgrade path from mdv2012(cooker), we should go back and upgrade those and also make sure the release is higher. As far as the missing go. I'd say cherry pick what is wanted out of the list and reimport them into cooker.
