Which is exactly why it's better to just have that group renamed in stead
of creating new branches and more fork hysteria with silly confusion and
question attached, which you in fact will be creating by forking into
separate branches and what not.

There is one upstream branch, use it, don't go on and create separate
branches to create confusion about what's upstream or not over something
silly as naming that's of no relevance.
