Hello, I have reported a bug in Mandriva installer: https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=53976 The problem is, you have unchecked the old (non utf-8) encoding, but the locales still use Big5 for zh_TW instead of UTF-8. If it happens in your language, please vote. This bug applies to 2009.1 (2009 spring) and cooker (2010.0).
