If I just try to set IP and netmask by double clicking on my network card, drakconnect shows in 
IP field "no IP", and in mask field "no mask". 
If I put and Ip and a mask and say that the IP is static, drakconnect will not set the interface. 
I'll see static, but still "no IP" and "no mask". 
The only way is to launch internet wizard
