[MandrakeMove] Urgent: how to start MandrakeMove from hard disk?

Hello,

it's me again. I'm stuck with the review because of a problem as much
stupid as serious, since delivery date approaches. However, since it
is also a question of general interest ("How do I use MandrakeMove on
systems which can't boot from Cd-rom?") here it goes.

My CD-rom drive broke. More exactly, I can read CDs just fine, but
effective two hours ago, in mid review, it stopped booting from them.

Any feedback on how to solve this/discover what happened is welcome,
although off topic.

The on topic question is this: I know (have done several times) that
you can copy some files from a bootable Cd-rom on the hard disk, and
then tell to grub to boot from them. So the system boots from the hard
disk, but at the grub promt you choose "cdrom" and voila: it starts
some images on the hard disk that load and then grab everything else
from the CD.

I have done this with Mandrake and Red Hat, but never with a live
Linux CD. How do I this with MandrakeMove? What do I copy off the
cdrom, and which options should I pass to grub?
