[MandrakeMove] Mounting /home on USB Flash Memory

Dear MM2 Developers, 
 
I've successfully worked out how to use my Bytestor 256Mb 
flash drive with Mandrake Move 2 Snapshot after a lot of 
playing. 
 
The drive is in fact split into two parts, the full 254Mb 
drive on /dev/sda and a 1.44Mb floppy on /dev/sdb.  This 
is for Windoze compatability and I can't see a way of 
removing this hard coded partition scheme. 
 
Problem is, Mandrake Move 2 snapshot tries to mount /home 
on the smaller /dev/sdb by default and just runs out of 
space creating the configuration files. 
 
To get around this, I boot without the key, then during 
the License Agreement screen, I plug it in , umount /home 
and remount it to the correct /dev/sda.  X kept crashing 
until I formated the key as ext2 rather than vfat. 
 
Is their any way in the development cycle of the new 
Mandrake Move to question the users about which device to 
use, and after that, detect an existing set of files on a 
device and use them.  I'm sure a lot of people must be 
running into this problem with cheap flash keys like mine.  
Sorry for being a cheapskate. 
 
The snapshot works OK, but I could not get Kooka to OCR a 
scanned file, and HardDrake2 in MMC seems to be broken. 
 
Other than that, keep up the excllent work and I can now 
use my favourite distro at work ;-)  I'll forward any 
config files you require.
