Hi Len, 
 
Try http://rpm.pbone.net/  and do a search for me-tv.  That should provide 
an RPM ready for your version of Mandriva.  Or you could try downloading 
the source RPM from the latest Mandriva package there and compiling that.   
It may still run into the dependency hell, but I have often had success with 
that sort of thing and it is worth a try.
