I know it's not a console program ;-) but there's always emacs!
Run a shell within emacs (M-x shell) start a macro sequence (C-x ( )
do your task (possible using dired mode?), end macro sequence (C-x ) )

Then repeat macro C-x e - though if the shell commands are asking for
input, you might need to store the inputs in another buffer and yank
successively them into the shell buffer to prevent the input becoming
part of the macro.

You can also put the macro into your .emacs to be remembered for another
time
