Mandriva 2009.1 End of Life message

This is a quick note to everyone to announce that, according to the
Mandriva EOL (End of Life) Policy, Mandriva Linux 2009.1 has reached its
end of life, and will not be receiving security updates anymore.

However, due to a number of recently discovered and remotely exploitable
security issues in a number of applications, the Mandriva Security Team
decided to update some remaining critical packages before discontinuing
as per the 29'th of October.

Please be aware of this as you plan upgrade and migration strategies to
newer/supported products.
