Bluetooth problem with kernel-netbook-2.6.33.7-2mdv

I'm encountering a problem with Bluetooth discovery and kernel-netbook. Specifically it can't seem to find any bluetooth devices. I also have kernel-desktop-2.6.33.7-2mdv installed on this netbook and bluetooth discovery works fine.
