Pulse oddities since today's KDE update

Maybe the Wine/Pulse issue I discovered is related to the bunch of KDE updates 
pushed out earlier today..

I see the Pulse volume control in the tray is now Kmix and shows the Alsa 
controls rather than the usual Pulse volume controls. But the Pulse volume 
control from the menu still works.

Pulse appears to be running. Maybe Wine can't find it?

Anyone else seeing some oddities since these last KDE updates.

Something is definitely wrong.
