PC friert komplett ein

Hallo,
erstmal ein gesundes neues Jahr an alle.

Wenn ich grössere Programme kompiliere o. ä. friert mein PC mit Mandrake 
10.1 komplett ein, unabhängig, ob X oben ist  oder auf der Konsole. Es 
gibt keinen Logeintrag. Und das beste, ich kann kein Reset machen. Es 
funktionieren keine Tasten am Rechner. Ich muß ihn komplett vom 
Stromnetz nehmen.

Hat jemand eine Idee oder einen kleinen Hinweis? Bei der 10.0 ging es noch.
