PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET A PASSWORD FOR THE MySQL root USER !
To do so, start the server, then issue the following commands:
/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password'
/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root -h hatman password 'new-password'
See the manual for more instructions.

NOTE:  If you are upgrading from a MySQL <= 3.22.10 you should run
the /usr/bin/mysql_fix_privilege_tables. Otherwise you will not be
able to use the new GRANT command!

Please report any problems with the /usr/bin/mysqlbug script!

Hallo an alle 

Bin noch relativ neu und komme nicht wirklich weiter hier ...
Habe gerade versucht per urpmi mysql in Version 4.1 zu installieren kriege es aber irgendwie nicht hin 


rufe ich einfach nur "urpmi mysql" auf kann ich nur zwischen Paketen der 4.0 Version wählen, brauche aber 4.1

Habe deshalb die Pakete von mysql.com (MySQL-server-4.1.12-1.i386.rpm etc.) runtergeladen aber kriege die nicht installiert

urpmi MySQL-server-4.1.12-1.i386.rpm

bringt ebenfalls Fehler


Gibt es da noch en Trick oder mache ich was total falsch
