Stuff it.  Your egocentric beleif that you can do no wrong is 
irritating.

The lady wanted a simple answer to a simple question, not a 
treatise on esoterica.

As you acknowledge, what she needed was a statement that she 
could simply put the Kubuntu install in a single partition and 
use it.

I have been reading this list for a time, and in this thread and 
others I have noticed the lady does have enough familiarity with 
Linux (since Linux 9, or maybe 8 IIRC) to deal with partitions.

I acknowledged I did not know how Kubuntu would handle multiple 
installed OS, provided a way to recover if Kubuntu did no play 
nicely with them, and expressed my opinion that Kubuntu would 
probably do the job ok, an opinion that others confirmed was correct.

Above and beyond the technical spects, I attempted to write in a 
conventional prose style, somewhat in keeping with the style she
uses and presumably understands and likely prefers.

And you complaint is?

That you do not get to show off everything you know?
Consider it on display, and count yourself lucky that no one is 
so rude as to comment on the meager size of it.
