Can you check if there is anything in the print-queue?
The command for that is  lpq  on a commandline. Looks like this:

[paul@localhost ~]$ lpq
FS-1030D2 is not ready
no entries

(My printer's switched off now)

If there are entries, the queue needs to be started. You should be able 
to do that through webmin if you have that installed.
