Basicly speaking mozilla plugins (<file>.so) should be installed in 1
of 3 locations
~./mozilla/plugins
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
/usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins
the correct lib directory to use is dependent upon your arch in your
case /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins.
I myself prefer this location as it works system wide whereas if it is
installed in ~./mozilla/plugins it must be done for each user.
Initially, as you stated that you were installing an rpm, I assumed you
were using i586 as there, AFAIK, is no x86_64 rpms for flash.
Prior to this year the only way you could use Flash on x86_64 was to use
nspluginwrapper and the flash i586 rpms, which could be a pain.
This year adobe has begun making Flash 10 alpha plugins available from
http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html
Download the file unpack it, then either move/copy or
link libflashplayer.so to /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins/
