thunderbird 3

Hi,

       Downloaded Thunderbird 3 archive and the only thing I see is a file
called 'updater'. It says to give the destination directory.  What directory
should I give?  Files for thunderbird 2 are scattered everywhere. Also
this is a 64 bit system. Mandriva 2010.0......thanks for any help!
