This is driver, which has to be placed into gt68xx folder." I asked google about A1fw.usb. You can get it from here: http://www.meier-geinitz.de/sane/gt68xx-backend/firmware/A1fw.usb Download it, save it, as root shove it into the right directory. It should go to /usr/share/sane/gt68xx/ (or rather: be there already) After that, connect the scanner, the driver should be located and loaded.
