> Does the file A1fw.usb show? Is it larger than 0 bytes? (just checking)
> type cp /path/to/where/you/downloaded/A1fw.usb ./  <enter>
> if the machine asks if it should overwrite A1fw.sub, type y <enter>
> type ls -l A1* <enter>
> Verify that the file has been copied
> teyp exit <enter>
> Give the scanner a try.


I am still stuck:

[root@sip sane]# cd /usr/share/sane
[root@sip sane]# ls gt68xx
ls: cannot access gt68xx: No such file or directory
