Have you tried looking at posts dealing with Skype on 
alt.os.linux.mandriva over the past few weeks?

There has been considerable discussion on this topic, and Skype 
is working for some.  I have not followed closely enough to know 
if it is working for all.
Start with posts in the last week or two.
