In 2 words: mandriva got rid of Edge IT which was loosing money. It has a new 
team : Mr De Galzain et Glineur.
New capital is coming in with new investors like  Townarea Ltd , Occam (Bryan 
Garnier) et Millenium partners.
The restructuration has allowed Mdv to diminish its debt and it will now be 
able to devote itself to their 3 axes of activity:

-sale and distribution of software destiend to education, mobility and the 
public.
-sale to enterprises with products like: Pulse, MDS and MES
- online sales of products abd services 

Negociations are going on in order to develop in the public and entreprise 
sectors, principally in France and Brazil . Mdv wants to develop the market in 
the Eurozone  and Russia. They are developing a new program with partership 
with resalers, integrators and distributors in order to develop direct sales.

The aim is to develop  uptodate software for all userssoftware
