backing up 2010

Hi, I hardly ever back up, I know I should. The last time I backed up was with 2008. It was easy, there was a backup program on MCC I seem to remember. I cannot find the equivalent on 2010 spring! One can upload to MDV but that is not what I want. I anyone can help me in simple words, please...
